BACKGROUND

YoungHeart Manawatu is one of eight national franchises licensed by New Zealand Football to participate in the New Zealand Football Championship (NZFC), NZ Football’s premier domestic competition.

YoungHeart Manawatu Inc. was co-operatively established by the local Manawatu clubs in 2004 to bring the highest possible level of football to the Manawatu and provide a pathway for our local talent to realize their dreams. 

OUR VISION

YoungHeart’s stated purpose is “To work together to make a great contribution to the community that we live in through football.”  Our goals are to provide opportunities for our local youth to develop their skills and a love of the game through training, playing and aspiring at the highest possible level.  Our Strategies are a Youth Academy, a team in the National Youth League (commencing January 2010) and a competitive senior team aiming to win the NZFC Championship (commencing in November 2009).
